agreed on Primeau, he isn't ready, but at least he fought back and made some nice saves after the first 2 goals.

and the physicality that Xhekaj brings is almost becoming indispensable to this team, they can't always lean on Anderson to do the dirty work.

I feel like the Habs are doing a great job in pre-season of preparing the fans for what the regular season will look like.

I feel like we should all be in mid-season preparedness form!

yeah, he's harmless. never really seemed like the argumentative type. gave an awful lot of info but never in the "i know more about this stuff than you guys" kind of way.

strange fascination with space.

I am having my doubts about Primeau, tbh, but time will tell.

Goaltending is likely the next organizational depth they need to work on.

yeah, I understand the doubts. personally I think he has the potential to become a very good goalie, and he'd probably be NHL-ready or close to it if it hadn't been for covid, but yeah nothing is certain either.

What are your thoughts on NBC's 1994 primetime line up?

I guess I am just use to having a star goalie on the team... there were points on the team where there was not much (like hoping Steve Penny was the answer after 1 kinda decent run), but really went from Dryden to Roy to Price.... the expectations on goaltending are high.

But if he can be better than average, but the team in front of him is solid, that works too, I guess.

not that I want to pick on the coach, but wtf was Primeau doing in net tonight?!?
there's 2 games left before opening night. you give one to Montembeault, and you give the last one to Allen.

He was kicked to the curb by the Ducks after only one season.

I just think they are trying to get as many players into the new "framework" the Habs want to use throughout the organization - MLT, Laval, etc...

This is not about winning today, but setting up winning for tomorrow.

So they are playing kids as much as possible.

Arber Xhekaj score some more points by standing up to Watson who had hit an unexpecting Kirby Dach. Whether you like fighting in hockey or not, it’s nice to see a player who can stand up for his teammates in this lineup.

*Morgan Freeman's voice*

Then, it was at that moment that Watson realized he wasn't fighting his girlfriend

yeah but I think fans are also aware that the team will be built differently, with more focus on offense and scoring goals, which should relieve a bit of that pressure.

didn't he say he wants to play his A team for the last 2 games?
so he thinks Primeau could really steal Montembeault's job and backup in Mtl? that would be best for Primeau' development? câlisse, la saison va être longue....
